1. About These Terms

Renoweb ("Renoweb", "we", "us", "our") is a website renovation, new website development, hosting and digital support service operated by WebEngineers Software India LLP, available at reno-web.com.

By contacting us to discuss a project, placing an order, or using any of our services, you ("you", "customer") agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't proceed with an order.

These Terms currently apply to customers in India. We'll publish a separate or updated version when Renoweb starts serving customers in other countries.

2. How These Terms Fit Together

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Where this document and the specific scope and price we confirm with you over WhatsApp for your project conflict, the confirmation we sent you for that project applies.

3. Our Services

• Website renovation — redesigning and rebuilding an existing, eligible business website while reusing its approved content and identity.
• New website development — building a new static business website from your requirements.
• Hosting, domain registration and DNS assistance, business email DNS setup, day-to-day content changes and logo design — chargeable support available once your website is live.

We may decline a project at our discretion — for example, if it's for content or a purpose we don't support (see "Acceptable Use" below), or if the requested scope isn't something we can deliver.

4. How an Order Works

1. Enquiry — you contact us on WhatsApp about your requirement.
2. Scope and price confirmation — we confirm eligibility (for a renovation) or the scope (for a new website), and agree the final price with you, in writing over WhatsApp, before anything is chargeable.
3. Payment — by UPI or a payment link we send you. Work begins only once the agreed payment is received.
4. Development — we build your website, using our own team, vetted freelance professionals, and AI-assisted tools as appropriate (see "Contractors and AI Tools" below).
5. Review — we share the completed website with you to check it against the agreed scope.
6. Handover / go-live — once you confirm it meets the agreed scope, we deploy it live, or hand it over if you're hosting elsewhere.

Changes requested after the scope was confirmed and development has started are treated as new, separately chargeable work — we'll always tell you before charging for anything extra.

5. Pricing and Taxes

Prices shown on our website (for example, "Website Renovation from ₹2,990" or "New Website Development from ₹6,990") are starting prices, exclusive of applicable taxes (GST). Your final price depends on the scope agreed for your project and is confirmed before work begins. Displayed prices are in Indian Rupees (₹).

6. Delivery Timelines

Most projects are delivered within 24 to 72 hours of becoming "development-ready" — that is, once we have your confirmed scope, your content, and any access we need. Time spent waiting for you to provide content, approvals or access doesn't count toward this window.

Delivery timelines are operational targets, not a guaranteed contractual deadline, unless we've agreed a specific delivery date with you in writing.

7. Content You Provide, Domains We Book, and Why We Don't Need Your Passwords

You're responsible for making sure any content, text, images, logos or other material you give us to use is either owned by you or you have the right to use it — we don't verify this on your behalf.

We don't ask for or need your website, hosting, CMS or domain account passwords to do our work — we build and host your website on our own infrastructure.

If you book a domain through us, we register it via Cloudflare using your name, phone number and address as the registrant — so the domain is registered in your name — while keeping our own email on the registration for account management. We also give you your own access to that domain's DNS records on Cloudflare, so you can view and manage them yourself at any time. If a transfer-out is needed later (see "No Vendor Lock-in" below), we update the registration so you have full, independent control.

We don't manage or host business email accounts. Where your email needs DNS records — for a service like Google Workspace or Zoho that you set up and own — we'll either add those records for you or tell you exactly what to add.

8. Contractors and AI Tools

We may engage vetted freelance professionals, and use AI-assisted tools, as part of designing, building, reviewing or maintaining your website. We remain responsible for the quality and delivery of the final website regardless of who or what was involved in producing it. Anyone we engage to work on your project is bound to keep your project information confidential, in the same way we are.

9. Ownership of Your Website

Once you've paid in full for your project, ownership of the final website files and design created specifically for you transfers to you. This doesn't include:

• any third-party licensed material used in your site (stock photography, fonts, plugins, icon sets, etc.), which stays subject to its own license terms; or
• any general-purpose code, component or design system Renoweb reuses across projects, which we may continue to use for other customers.

We may reference completed projects — for example, in a portfolio or case study — unless you ask us in writing not to.

10. Hosting and Ongoing Services

Hosting, domain, DNS (including for email), content-change and logo-design support are separate, chargeable services, arranged and confirmed with you over WhatsApp before any work or charge. These Terms apply to ongoing services too, alongside whatever specific plan or scope we've confirmed with you.

11. No Vendor Lock-in

You're never required to keep using Renoweb. If you decide to move your website elsewhere:

Prices exclusive of applicable taxes, and may change — we'll always confirm the current fee before charging it. No reason or justification is required from you to request a handover or transfer-out.

12. Cancellations and Refunds

All payments to Renoweb are final — we don't offer refunds once you've paid. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full position and how we handle it if we're ever unable to deliver what was agreed.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to build, host or maintain a website for content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that we reasonably believe is harmful, fraudulent or misleading. We may refuse, pause or stop work on a project, or suspend hosting, if we believe it's being used for this kind of content.

14. Service "As Is" and Disclaimers

We build your website to the scope agreed with you, and test it as described on our website (see our published PageSpeed results) — but we don't guarantee specific business outcomes, such as search ranking, traffic, leads or sales, since these depend on many factors outside our control.

Third-party services your website or our work depends on — including domain registrars, hosting infrastructure, WhatsApp/Meta, browsers and search engines — are outside our control, and we're not responsible for their outages, policy changes or pricing changes.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the specific service the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss (like lost profits or lost business opportunities) arising from our services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Pune, Maharashtra will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to applicable law.

Before going to court, we'd genuinely prefer to sort things out directly — message us on WhatsApp or email us and we'll try to resolve it.
